How Minime works
Agent-first polls: your agent writes the questions and opens the room, everyone answers on their device. No account, nothing stored: a room lives 24 hours, and whatever should last, you take with you.
1. Three views, one room
Device
Participants join with the code or the QR code and answer on their phone or laptop. Anonymous, with no app and no account.
Screen
The presenter view to show: on the projector or in the shared screen of a call. It shows the questions, the results once you release them, and the code to join.
Host view only for you
Your workplace: you see every answer before you show it, find the room's links, share or print the results and show hidden answers again. Not meant to be shown.
2. Two paces
At your own pace (default)
The room is open from its creation. Everyone goes through the questions on their device; the screen only shows how many have finished. Afterwards you go through the results together. Good for retros, surveys and knowledge checks.
At the presentation's pace
You move on question by question, everyone answers the same question, and you decide when the results come on the screen. Good for a discussion after each question.
Screen quiz: A poll at the presentation's pace can also run without votes on the devices. The screen shows the question, the options and a countdown; the room answers out loud, and you reveal the right answer. Mirror mode: Whoever joins with the code anyway sees on their device exactly what the screen shows, without voting. Handy when the screen is small.
3. The links and who may have them
| Link | What it opens | Pass it on to |
|---|---|---|
| Join | The room on the device, to answer. | every participant |
| Screen | The presenter view; it steers the room. | only your projector computer |
| Host | Your host view: overview, links and results. | no one |
| Template | The questions without answers. Anyone starts new rooms from it, for ever. Holds the right answers. | other hosts |
| Results | The results, to read and print. Works for ever, also without the room. | whoever may see them |
4. Nothing is stored
A room lives at most 24 hours from its creation and is then deleted with every answer. It cannot be extended. Whatever should last, you take with you: as a link (the template for the next round, the results for the report; both carry their content themselves and work for ever) or as a file your agent gives you, for example in a folder or a Git repository.
5. With an agent or without
With an agent (Claude, ChatGPT or another one with MCP) you describe the poll in the chat: it writes the questions, creates the room, steers it and evaluates it. Without an agent you start a shared template straight from its link. Building and changing polls needs an agent.
